Ramsey Educational Development Institute, Inc. (REDI)
Children's & Family Services was conceived, established and organized
to address several fundamental premises in Early
Intervention (EI), the most essential of which is to
provide the highest quality programming and support for
young children and their families.
REDI Children's & Family Services provides EI services to children
who have developmental disabilities from birth through three-years-old.
It is our goal to meet the needs of this diverse population
by implementing changes in special education legislation
and working in a collaborative fashion with the community
at large.
REDI takes its commitment to children with special needs
very seriously, forging professional alliances with the
community, establishing bonds with
families, and collaborating with the Montgomery County,
Pennsylvania, Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation,
and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
All members of the REDI Children's & Family Services team are highly
trained EI professionals, with combined experience of more
than 70 years in working with young children. All EI cases
are handled in a multidisciplinary fashion, with one team
member being assigned as the primary support person with
augmentation through other disciplines as appropriate.
