Committed to Empowering our Communities

The Ramsey Educational Development Institute (REDI) is a minority, woman owned business, founded in 1998 as the non-profit subsidiary of The Amoore Group. REDI was established to provide vocational, educational and life skills training to the residents of at risk communities throughout the region.

Our mission is to provide a holistic array of community based educational and economic development services, whose outcomes address the needs of and empower children, families, and communities. With this mission at the heart of our work, our Training & Employment Division has provided employment preparation, vocational instruction, adult basic education, soft skills and intensive case management services to over two thousand youth, adults, ex-offenders and senior citizens in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Our Children & Family Services Division has provided Early Intervention, education and therapy services to over 3000 infants, toddlers and their families.

Since 1998, REDI has provided services and established local offices in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties, working collaboratively with Federal, State and Local government agencies, other community non-profit agencies, private foundations, educational institutions and corporations.

“Good days, brought to us by REDI
When my boys were toddlers, good days were hard to come by. A good day was often determined by what didn’t happen—no meltdown, head banging, hitting, escaping, or biting all qualified as a good day. That is, until we began working with therapists at REDI.”

“There are no words to say that could express how grateful we are as a family for the support REDI provided us with over the span of 2 1/2 years. Olivia’s team members (PT, OT, Speech, Special Instruction, Nutrition, and Case Management) were so amazing. Without their help and support we would not be where we are today with Olivia. They were supportive, compassionate, and the most kind-hearted people to work with. They took the time to consult with one another, and work together to provide the best outcomes for Olivia. They suggested so many supports and really thought outside the box for strategies. Aside from providing for Olivia, they were a listening ear and sounding board for my concerns as well. They were like a family and we were so sad to see them go! ”
