Women Presidents International Conference. She spoke to
students in the Republic of China who matriculated in the
Communications University of China in both Beijing as well
as Nanjing, China. The President of the Communications
University of China, Liu Jinan, invited her. While there,
Ms. Amoore was a part of a group of Presidents and
Chancellors from all over the World who were able to inform,
educate, and enlighten faculty and staff of the University
in regards to the hardships women face on a daily basis in
education, as well as in media business. During the course
of the conference, she visited the following cities in
China: Beijing, Nanjin, Suzsho, and Shangi.
Ms. Amoore
spoke to the students, faculty, staff, as well as her fellow
speakers about women in the media in the United States of
America. She was able to give a brief synopsis of how women
should and can make their presence known in an enterprise
such as media, where most often men have the advantage. She
expressed that women should continually educate their
viewers as well as themselves; also giving clear insight to
the audience that anything they put their mind to can be
accomplished. Ms. Amoore was elaborate, outspoken, and
confident as she expressed the importance of education and
perseverance women need to have in the media business.
