On April
27, 2006 the Ramsey Educational Development
Institute, Inc. held its Fifth Annual Spring
Benefit and Silent Auction at the Union League
of Philadelphia. The support and commitment
from those who attended the fundraiser will
enable REDI programs to continue to provide
opportunities for at-risk populations and
families in need across the Delaware Valley.
Programs
provided by REDI Training and Employment
Services include job readiness and placement,
GED training and literacy programs to more than
900 adults in need of these basic skills to
obtain meaningful employment in both the public
and private sectors. Your contributions have
enabled us to provide scholarships for GED
testing for students who have completed our
training courses.
REDI
Children and Family Services continues to
provide quality in-home multidisciplinary
therapy to developmentally challenged infants
and young children. Thanks to your help, REDI
has been able to expand its list of services to
parents, including parent-counseling groups in
order to provide much needed support, staff
attendance at Autism conferences, supplies for
the children and help for one of the families to
secure housing. Since its inception, REDI
Children and Family Services have served over
750 children and their families.
Many state
