Philadelphia Fed Names New Business
Council Members
Philadelphia, Pa. - The Federal Reserve Bank of
Philadelphia has appointed several business leaders to serve
on its Business Council for three-year terms beginning this
year. The 12-member council advises Federal Reserve
officials about regional business conditions and economic
issues that have an impact on the marketplace.
Renee Amoore, founder, president and CEO of The Amoore
Group, King of Prussia, Pa., started her first business,
Amoore Health Systems, Inc., in 1995. She has since branched
out, creating 521 Management, Inc., a communications firm;
Ramsey Educational Development, Inc., children and adult
services; and Liberty Services, construction and
environmental services. She serves on the boards of the
Franklin Institute, Nazareth Hospital, Drexel University,
Greater Philadelphia, Montgomery County Chambers of
Commerce, and the King of Prussia Convention and Visitors
Bureau.
Amoore is a member of the Union League’s member relations
committee. She is a member of the following boards:
Pennsylvania State Chamber of Commerce, Pennsylvanians for
Effective Government, and the Business Industry Political
Action Committee. She is a registered nurse, who graduated
from Harlem Hospital School of Nursing. She received
bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Antioch University.
