Amoore Participates in President Bush's Council on
the 21st Century Workforce
Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao hosted a meeting of the
President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce on December
2nd at the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. The Council
was formed by President George W. Bush to bring the diverse
perspectives and expertise of labor unions, academia, business,
and government together to report on the problems and challenges
facing America's workforce in the 21st Century.
The mission of the 21st Century Workforce Office is to
ensure that all American workers have as fulfilling and
financially rewarding a career as they aspire to have and
to make sure that no worker gets left behind in the limitless
potential of the dynamic, global economy of this new millennium.
